Students are getting smart in art, learning specific colour names and the seven elements of art. This term, students are working on a range of different art techniques and mediums across the school.
Year 4 have been exploring the artwork of Sandra Silberzweig, focusing on analogous colours and shape to create their abstract portraits.
Year 5 are enjoying being creative and learning new skills with watercolour paints whilst learning about positive and negative space.
Year 6 have been busy designing a monochromatic landscape by using the elements of space and value to create depth in their landscape.
An eager group of art enthusiasts come to Art Club during lunch times which further allows them to stretch their imaginations and skills and just have fun creating. Students are excited to showcase what they have been creating in the Art Show later in the year.
