The end of 2019 is quickly approaching. Teachers and students are busily completing assessment tasks for each learning area so report cards can be written and distributed before the holidays.
Students are assessed and reported on a 5 point scale for the Australian Curriculum areas of English, Maths, Science, HASS, Health, Physical Eduacation and The Arts (either for music or dance/drama). Year 5 and 6 students will also be reported on in the area of LOTE - AUSLAN.
Semester 2 report cards will be either emailed or sent home to parents on Wednesday, December 11th. If you require two copies of your child's report card please let your child's class teacher know as soon as possible.
Do the Christmas school holidays feel like they will never end?
Do you hear a constant cry of "I'm bored"?
Are you looking for ways to keep your children learning during the six week break?
Mareeba State School subscribes to a number of online learning programs that your children will have access to, at home, during the Christmas holidays. Below are the details of these programs and how your child can gain access.
Mathletics switches kids on to maths. It's engaging, highly supportive with activities targeted to the Australian mathematics curriculum for both primary and secondary students.
Students require individual usernames and passwords to access this program. Students already have this information and are using it to access Mathletics at school - ask them to bring their details home with them.
