Where have the last 3 weeks gone!  We are switching to I Respect Safey :  Right place, Right time.  Why you may ask?  At MSS we expect students to be where they need to be, doing what they need to be doing, be it at lunchtime, during HPE, Music or class time.  With an increase in property missing from school bags we will be activly supervising verandas during classtime and at lunchtimes.  Our PAUSE foucs will be around empathy, to help shed light on what it feels like to have property/belongings taken without your permission.

High Expectations from Students and Teachers  Moving around the school

MSS will continue to focus on high expectations of staff and students explicitly teaching what MSS expects when moving around the school especially on walkways, stairs and verandas to the focus on which stairwells can be accessed by which class/grade at various times of the day.

Tricky Tuesday

Our first Tricky Tuesday for term 3 was a Wacky Wednesday, as we have been busy already this term. A large number of students are banking and buying already this term.  We are struggling too keep up with the demand for slime – who knew slime would be so popular!

Lost Property

We already have a huge number of winter wooleys piling up at the Hub.  Please make sure items are labled so that they can be returned.  Remember to check lost property regularly.

Pokemon

Pokemon club is on Tuesday at first break with Mr Brown in B04 (above the tuckshop). Cards are to be handed into Mr Brown when students are released from the CPA in the morning and collected again in the afternoons.  Please do not birng valaubles in your school bag, if you do have something of value, hand it in to your teacher.  Reminder that mobile phones/electronic devices are to be handed in to the office.
