Attendance and Wellbeing
Hello to our Parents, Cares and School community. Below the tables show some great data for our term 1 attendance. As you can see the top table is the whole school attendance across the term, and the bottom tables show each classes attendance each week. There are some great weeks and there are some weeks that need some attention.
At MSS we work hard to make sure all of our students are attending school everyday (that they are well). Please continue to work with us and the classroom teachers to ensure we get everyone to school because EVERYDAY COUNTS.
We are very lucky to continue our partnerships with community agencies and businesses such as The Hungry Pug, Howe Farming, MCC, Mulungu Aboriginal Health Corporation to name a few that support our programs to provide emergency breakfasts and lunches.
To support our student's engagement, we are partnering with Mulungu Sports Team, JMF and also coming on board in term 2 will be Alex Srhoj and the Football Queensland (soccer) coaches and Wes Fern from Aspire to Achieve (Hockey). Food Bank Australia has chosen MSS as a worthy recipient of the Breakfast Program run by our local SDA Church.
There are so many reasons for the students to come to school. Please contact the school office or your child's teacher if you need support with attendance.
