PBL Update
As we approach teacher planning days, assessment and with construction to begin at MSS, this Respect is of up most importance. With different teachers often teaching classes and classes being dispersed we do need to be mindful of our I Respect Safety expectations:
- I Respect Safety: Right place, right time
- I Respect Safety: Follow steps, solve problems
- I Respect Safety: Follow rules, follow directions
High Expectations from Students and Teachers – Yes, our Respects at MSS are for all of us!
We have moved from outside the classroom focus to inside the class with 'hands up'. Hands up for answering questions, hands up for asking for permission and hands up to move about the classroom. Hands up, helps us to maintain calm classroom and to ensure that we know where our students are at all times.
Pause/Zones
Along with Hands Up to help with calm classrooms, we will be focusing on Pause Posture (whole body listening). This makes sure that all our little people are not only listening, but paying attention to their teacher to maximise learning outcomes.
