To enrol your child at our school, you must reside within our catchment zone. For more information about our zone or to check if you are able to enrol, please contact the office.
To enrol your child at Mareeba State School, please follow these easy steps:
Step 1
Enrolment package
Complete an enrolment package for each child to be enrolled.
The forms may be downloaded via the links below or collected from the school office. You may submit the forms to the office or email them to admin@mareebass.eq.edu.au.
If you are emailing the enrolment forms, please leave the signature blocks blank so these can be signed at the school.

Step 2
Enrolment interview
Before your child can start at Mareeba State School, you must attend an enrolment interview with a Deputy Principal. After returning your completed enrolment paperwork to the office, you will be contacted to book an enrolment interview time.
You will need to bring the following items to the enrolment interview:
- You and the child/children applying for enrolment
- Each child's birth certificate or passport
- A current passport and visa (required if the child is born overseas)
- Each child’s most recent student report card
