It was fantastic to see so many students proudly wearing their house colours and cheering on their team and fellow peers during our carnival this year. Student participation was high, as it always is and house spirit was strong. It was also great to see parents and families supporting students in hefty numbers. There were many standout performances, however the age champions this year were:
9 yrs age champions- Tiahrose B & Joseph J
10 yrs age champions- Ciarra I & Elexis T (dual recipients) & Jack B
11 yrs age champions- Claire W & Callum S
12 yrs age champions- Jade Si & Joel J
Mitchell was the overall winning house from the carnival on 704 points, with Barron finishing 2nd on 690 points and Granite in 3rd place with 646 points. The HPE team are looking forward to cheering on our students at the Tablelands District Track and Field Carnival next term.
