At Mareeba State School, we value our strong partnerships with community organisations to ensure our students are supported in the best way possible. We believe 'it takes a village to raise a child', and we pride ourselves on ensuring that our 'village' includes the whole Mareeba community.
We maintain positive, close relationships with other local schools and kindergarten centres, as well as local agencies such as Mulungu, Mareeba Police, Mareeba Shire Council, Mareeba Community Centre, PCYC and many more. This ensures that students and families who need extra support receive the help they need.
We are also very grateful for the support that we receive from our community, such as emergency lunch donations from The Hungry Pug Mareeba, and the Year 6 Bursary that is donated each year from Apel's Solicitors.
