Mareeba State School's Virtual Classrooms have been operating extremely well.  Along the way, people have experienced connectivity issues and software issues, however with persistence and patience, these points of frustration have generally been overcome.

During this Learning@Home phase, the technology skills of parents, students and staff have grown immensely.  From all accounts, the learning has been fun, invigorating and confidence building for everyone involved.

Some data for the first 2 weeks indicates that all year level Virtual Classrooms are being accessed thoroughly by our students and families on a daily basis which is fantastic and encouraging.  Across the first 2 weeks there have been over 25,000 accesses to the Year Level Virtual Classrooms as well as the Mareeba SS Main Virtual Classroom.  On average there have been 20 students accessing the LIVE lessons presented by their cohort teachers.
